Why is this ocean SO TURQUOISE?

Drive Around the Island

Days 7 & 8....We started out at Kailua Beach until it started to rain, then we had to go to Plan B, which was to shop, and pick up Amanda early from BYU-H. And this is what we saw on the trip from Kailua to Laie, and then from Laie to Ko'Olina. It was a great day!

Gail is our hero! She's the only one that would brave the roach while the rest of us ran around screaming and covering our faces. I was on a chair, Alyssa was on the counter, Amanda was all over the place - it's too bad we didn't take a video for the sound effects.
